But how come this is an almost worldwide phenomenon? The reason with winter and flu season might apply for northern countries on the northern hemisphere. But why its same way on the southern hemisphere, where winter is July / August and in tropical areas where there is no winter at all?
Most people pass away in December (or Winter) because it is colder and more illnesses to go around, you can get frostbite depending on how cold it is.
Also some people pass away in the summer, July or august, from drowning, allergies, and if you live in a certain area, snakes?

I believe you are referring to when do most heart attacks occur? Most cardiac deaths occur on Monday, when people return to work, or the first day back at work after a long holiday or vacation. Most victims are males, but females are just as prone to heart attack from stress.
