There are a lot of ways to look at this movie. The moral in Dash's story arc is to be humble, even if you know you're special; Violet's is that if you put yourself out there, the people you want to notice you will come around; the moral in both Bob and Syndrome's story is not to put your life, your friends, and your family below the pursuit of glory. I believe that the main moral, though, is to always remember how special you are and be true to yourself, regardless of the people who try to discourage you and make you pretend you're someone you're not.

It's about team work and it's better with two heads other than one. Family is more important than your own glory. A secondary theme is how extraordinary is set to ordinary in this modern society. There was the argument between Bob and Helen that woke up the kids; the argument started to point out this motif slightly. The next point in which it shows up is when Syndrome says that he'll have his fun, then sell his weapons making everyone super "and if everyone is super, no one is".
