Comfort is subjective for sure, but at La-Z-Boy (I work for them) we have the tagline, "Comfort. It's What We Do" so perhaps the LZB Furniture Galleries would be a good place to start? A couple of my favorites include "Jackson" and "Rialto" (www.la-z-boy.com) Good luck with your search!
As someone who has fixed furniture, as well as written, and spoken on its history and design for twenty years, I can think of no more less necessary, no more needlessly complex, and no harder to fix type than the "motion furniture", which lazy-boy (forgive my reluctance to hew to the trademark spelling), and others have flooded the market with.
Solidly made wood frames can last centuries, and have. The riveted construction and stamped metal parts that are intrinsic to all motion furniture cannot. If want to put your feet up, get a stool. Motion furniture is planned obsolescence masquerading as modern technology.
A good sofa.
Comfortable. This sofa is very comfortable. Are you comfortable sitting on the floor?
Microfiber is a very comfortable couch and holds its shape well. The lounge is another great couch for comfort and has room enough to stretch your legs out.
That is a good simile, yes.
Sofa-sleepers by Simmons have gotten good reviews. Simmons was founded as a mattress company first, then got into furniture. Because of the expertise in the area of sleep comfort, the sofa beds produced by Simmons are known to be among the most comfortable.
For the same reason humans do; it's comfortable.
In my opinion i believe they are they are very comfortable.
So that the extension limit of the spring would not be exceeded quickly causing spring to be broken and so the sofa would not be comfortable anymore.
we bought one 12 yrs ago, from a liquidation sale, did some research and discovered very high end, still the most comfortable sofa ive ever sat on. (not a Bed just a sofa). Well out of all the Sofa collection we had the Patio's were the most promising ones. They had a nice durability in diverse weather conditions and also they confirm to the design considerations too.
A futon is really like a sleeper sofa. You can take these and fold them up and down just like a sleeper sofa. They just offer a more modern design. They can be bought with metal and wood frames. However they are usually not quite as comfortable as a sleeper sofa. They can be found at most major discount store, furniture stores, and in warehouse outlets.
You can sleep on it like a sofa. However it is not nearly as comfortable as a real mattress.
You can easily find a sofa sleeper from such sites as Amazon. However, if you want to purchase one from a brand name seller, I recommend La-Z Boy. They have a wide range of colors and sizes of sofa sleepers that are extremely comfortable for anyone who uses them.
