There are many traditional Greek dishes available as well as international cuisine particularly in tourist areas. Some traditional dishes include Saganaki (prawns/shrimp cooked in a tomato sauce with feta cheese and paprika), Souvlaki (kebabs), Greek Salad (usually feta cheese, tomato, cucumber, olives, onion and oregano), Stifado (a kind of stew with baby onions and meat on the bone). You should be able to find a lot of fresh fish and seafood, appetisers such as fried peppers and courgettes, whitebait, calamari, taramasalata, olives, fried cheese, salads, pasta and rice dishes as well as Pizza, burgers, stews and steaks/chicken. You will find a larger selection of International foods eg. Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian etc. in tourist areas. Hope this is of some help

Greeks also eat a lot of Horta (various green root vegetables) These are boiled in a little slalty water. When they are soft they are served hot or cold napped with lemon and olive oil.
