It is about Tracy Turnblad a teenage girl who has a dream of dancing on ' the cornycolins show' and fancys the hot boy on the show 'Link'. It is set in the time when (60's) american had split between different colours . And succeds in the end when she gets her man and town is mixed and she dances on the show.

∙ 11y agoThe Musical Hairspray! is amazing! it's based on a rather 'large' girl, Tracy, who just wants to be a dancer. She auditions for the famous Dance show ' The corny Collin show' in which she gets a place and becomes known for her dancing skills. This was set in a very upsetting and racist time. She tries to stop racism and she believes that with enough hard work and effort she can get people to dance on television equally. She eventually wins, 'defeats the bad guys ;) ' haha. It's amazing. The songs are phenomenal, the quick step dance routines and everything. My dream role is a part of this production, go see it, enjoy it!
