ICL3 Is an interhalogenic molekule which is the only one that is not a Fluoride (all other interhalogenic bonds are fluorids). According to VSEPR it has a T-shape that is derived from a Tetraeder.

The Chlor Atoms are on "the end" of the T and the Iodine is in the middle.

As for the usage I only anything, but ICl is used as a fluorine agent.
