I think it is the Marine Force Recon.
Yes. The Marines created MarSOC in 2006. The 1st and 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalions (MSOB) were created from the Force Recon companies. The 3rd MSOB was created in 2009. They conduct foreign internal defense (training foreign military units), recon, and direct action operations, similar to the Army Special Forces.
Based on the fact that the movie came out in January 2006 and MARSOC wasn't officially stood up late February 2006, it was most likely meant to be Force Recon Marines that are portrayed in the movie.
Air Force Special Operations Command was created in 1990.
DEVGRU(Naval Special Warfare Development Group) formerly known as SEAL Team 6 has a 9 month Special Operations Assaulter course. Im positive that Delta Force's selection time would be very similar to this,it used to be 6 months. But since the 2000's Special Operations units have been upping the anty on there selection courses. DEVGRU and Delta Force are very comparable so im sure Delta's selection is probably about the same.
I think it is the Marine Force Recon.
No. Delta Force is part of the Army. The Marines have their own special operations forces.
Marines are not on par with the Seals. Marines are a regular force, seals are special operations. A more likely match would be Marine Recon Vs Seal
1. British SAS and SBS 2. Navy SEALs 3. Israeli Commando 4. Delta Force 5. US Rangers 6. Russian Spetsnaz 7. Royal Marines 8. US Marines 9. North Korea Special Forces 10. South Korean Marines.
No. Not even close. The toughest and best Special Forces are British SAS, American Delta Force,Green Beret and Marines' Force Recon
probably marine force recon or scout snipers
delta force
The Air Force has Special Operations, "Special Forces" is the term for Army Green Berets. The Air Force special ops consist of:PararescueCombat ControllersSpecial Ops Weather TeamOr in BritainRoyal Marines and RAF Regiment are the second closest to a Special Operations.the Royal Air Force have:RAF RegimentRAF Parachute Team. However Britain does have a Air Special Ops branch which is obviously the SAS (Special Air Service)
Yes they can, the're more likley to join the SBS (special boat service) but the SAS invite people in the navy, air force and marines to join the SAS
Every Branch in the US Military has its own Special Operations unit. Air Force - AFSOC Marines - MARSOC Army - USSOC Navy - SOCOM
It's harder to join the Marines. They have much higher standards than the Army.
Army, Coastguard, Marines, Navy, Air-force etc.
