Best Answer

Winter white hamsters turn white in Winter to stay hidden from predators under the snow.

However they will not always turn white. It is the amount of light they get that triggers the change, they will usually get the same amount of light all year around in a human house, and they will keep their natural colour.

first of all there is no such thing as a WINTER WHITE HAMSTER, second of all most hamsters in the wild die before winter comes. But if a hamster would live through winter it would be hibernating. And the habitat of all wild hamsters are near crops, on the field or in the woods near crop fields. They could also live under the bush or some places like that. Similar places like wild rabbits.

Yes. Give carrots in moderation and celery not too much. When feeding your hamster celery, cut them in small pieces because they can be stringy. Hope I helped!
