F1=normal force

F2=gravitational force on the bulb

net force=F1+F2

but f1 and f2 are same in magnitude but differ in direction.(newton 3rd law of motion)

If we add both f1 and f2,they will cancel out

Therefore ;

The net force=f1+(-f2)=0

So,the net force on the bulb is 0N

How does the force of gravity a light bulb itself that is hanging from a single cord comepare to the force of the cord on the bulb?

The weight of the bulb, acting downward, and the tension in the cord, acting upward, must be equal, so that the net force on the bulb is zero. If not, then the bulb is accelerating in the direction of the net force. If it's just hanging there and not accelerating up or down, then the two forces must be equal, and add up to zero.

What happens when you connect a single battery to a light bulb?

Is the light from an incandescent lamp monochromatic?

No, an incandescent bulb i.e. a bulb that emits light by the generation of heat, emits white light and is therefore not monochromatic. For a source to be monochromatic, the light emitted must be of a single wavelength.

Did people accept the light bulb or did they reject it?

The light bulb was widely accepted and may have been the single most popular invention of all time - although there have since been several alternatives such as the fluorescent tube and the LED, which are in the process of replacing the light bulb.

How do you replace a tail light bulb 2002 Kia Rio?

Rear combination light assembly contains three bulbs. Two bulbs are single-filament and are used in hazard/turn signal and backup light circuits. Third bulb is a dual filament bulb; one filament functions as brake light and other as tail light. A plastic bulb holder mounts three lamps and associated wiring. Bulb holder can be removed from inside vehicle for bulb replacement.

What will happen if the two switches connected to light up a single bulb are on?

It is dependant on whether the switches are in wired in a parallel or series configuration. If the switches are wires in parallel then both switches would have to be off to turn the light bulb off. Either switch could turn the light bulb on. If the switches are wired in series then both switches would have to be on to turn the light bulb on. Either switch could turn the light bulb off.
