  1. Neuroscience Perspective -Inside the individual, functioning of the brain and other systems of the body and how they effect behavior. Problems of the body and body chemistry can have profound effects on the body.

    1. The following can be used to diagnose using the neuroscience perspective.

      • Genetic testing, certain genetic condition can create a predisposition to certain disorders which coupled with environmental stressers can lead to abnormal behavior.

      • Testing of the body chemistry, an imbalanced body chemistry in ether direction can create stress or anxiety(or any emotion) which can lead to abnormal behavior.(can also be aggravated by the environment the subject is in)

      • Measuring or imaging the brain(eeg, pet, ct, mri, fmri, ect..), allows a researcher to see inside the brain without cutting into it. They can look for damage of all type from blockages to dead parts of the brain.
