In The Bible it all depends on how the 'ten commandments' are divided into ten.

In the Roman Catholic Church, the 9th commandment is a prohibition against wanting your neighbours wife. The 10th commandment prohibits wanting anything else that belongs to your neighbour.

In Judaism and Anglicanism, the 9th commandment starts before the subject of other people's wives. It condemns telling lies (bearing false witness). This is followed by a composite 10th commandment against covetousness, i.e. one should covet neither one's neighbour's wife nor anything else that belongs to him.

Regardless of how they are numbered, the wording of the commandments makes clear what the meaning is.

The 6th commandment is about committing adultery. The 9th commandment is about coveting anothers partner or thinking about it and being jealous and wanting to but not necessarily playing out those fantasies.

Actually, most Christian religions say the sixth commandment is "thou shalt not kill", while the ninth is "thou shalt not bare false witness [or lie, as in be dishonest in speech]".
