Of course, Death of a Salesman is a play written by Artur Miller and is intended to be seen on stage in order to gain its full impact. While watching it on stage it is at least 100 pages long. Did you know that Arthur Miller had originally titled this play: Inside Willy Lohman's Head, and imagined a stage that had an outline of Willy's head. The director wisely convinced Miller that this was not such a good idea and Miller abandoned his dream of watching Willy putter around inside his head and called the play: Death of a Salesman.
