The Oldest City in the World is: The Oldest City on Planet Earth so far discovered is Pumapunku in present day Bolivia the age of the city is so ancient that no date can be even given. The technology used in its building is so advance that today we do not have the same technology capable of cut the stone in a meticulous and precise manner, not to mention the size and weight of the block stones themselves.
Cities like Damascus in Syria are much more recent in comparison with the Ancient City of Pumapunku for example. and regarding the age of the city it is 1510 ±25 B.P

if you are talking about still inhabited cities you might be right. but if you are talking cities as a whole. cities like Dwaraka (india) which existed about 32000 years ago is much older.
The oldest city (9000 BC) is in southern Turkey, but hasn't been inhabited in ages. The oldest existing city (7000 BC) is Damascus, Syria. The town of Jericho is older, and a village in north Iraq dates back to 8000 BC.
