NO! There are many many drugs you can die from. You can overdose or have complications from long term use. Illegal drugs and prescription drugs can certainly cause death. Someone died from drinking too much water live on a radio show contest. Anything in excess is bad. The highest statistics for death from drugs is cigarettes.

No, you can die from most drugs. People mostly die from overdosing or becoming addicted to drugs. You can even die from painkillers like panadol. A perfect example is Heath Ledger.

You can die from a LOT of drugs...cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, meth, barbiturates...the only illegal drugs I can think of you cannot die from are marijuana and LSD.

LSD and pot have one difference: there is a known LD50 for LSD. It's 12,000 micrograms. The average dose is 100 micrograms, and a very, very strong dose is 400 micrograms. You could drop acid until you were so stoned you couldn't move for a month and still not hit 12,000 micrograms. So...as far as I am concerned LSD doesn't actually have an LD50 because you can't drop that much acid.
