GOD spoke of this 6000 years ago.
From the book of Genesis:
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it. " (NOT DOING what is right = the sin of omission)
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
Numerous searches by numerous people have failed to find this exact quotation in any of Burke's writings, and it is now thought to be a 20th Cen. paraphrase.
Here is an Edmund Burke quote that I believe fits nicely into the above 'paraphrase?':
"It is not enough in a situation of trust in the commonwealth, that a man means well to his country; it is not enough that in his single person he never did an evil act, but always voted according to his conscience, and even harangued against every design which he apprehended to be prejudicial to the interests of his country. This innoxious and ineffectual character, that seems formed upon a plan of apology and disculpation, falls miserably short of the mark of public duty. That duty demands and requires that what is right should not only be made known, but made prevalent; that what is evil should not only be detected, but defeated. When the public man omits to put himself in a situation of doing his duty with effect it is an omission that frustrates the purposes of his trust almost as much as if he had formally betrayed it. It is surely no very rational account of a man's life, that he has always acted right but has taken special care to act in such a manner that his endeavours could not possibly be productive of any consequence."
This is also a quote from the game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by Alucard Draculas halfblood son. the exact quote being "Always remember, that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

A magical word or phrase uttered to bring about evil.
Are Fauns evil?
This is not in the bible, its somebody's quote from Edmund Burke
The origin of the phrase comes from the Bible. However, it's not "money is the root cause of all evil." The phrase is "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." Basically, this means that greed causes us to do evil.
I malvagi non prevalgono mai is an Italian equivalent of the English phrase "Evil ones never prevail." The declarative/exclamatory statement translates also as "The contemptible (wicked) ones do not ever prevail" in English. The pronunciation will be "ee mal-VA-djee non prey-VAL-go-no meye" in Italian.
The Origin of Evil was created in 1951.

No
It was originally believed to have come from coeur mechant, the French phrase for “evil heart,”
Edmund Burke. The actual quote is: "The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing."Addendum:The "actual quote" cannot be found. While it is attributed to Burke, there is not evidence that he ever actually spoke or wrote it, and Burke was a prolific writer and speaker. There have been countless attempts to tie it to a specific piece of writing, and some of these are laudable. One of the most likely sources of this particular bit of wisdom could be: When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle. It was born in Burke's speech of 23 April 1770, "Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents," delivered to the House of Commons. The quote as it is in the question appears in at least eleven different permutations on the internet:The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. All that is needed for the forces of evil to triumph is for enough good men to do nothing. All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. In order for 'evil' to prevail, all that need happen is for 'good' people to do nothing. All that is needed for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. The surest way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. All it will take for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. All that is necessary for the forces of evil to take root in the world is for enough good men to do nothing. All that is needed for the forces of evil to succeed is for enough good men to remain silent. All it takes for Evil to prevail in this world is for enough good men to do nothing. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. These more commonly worded permutations of Burke's message survive, perhaps more because they appeal to the modern ear. Call it poetic license, but Burke's words live on, they just look a little different.
think about it
there is nothing evil worth saying.
This phrase, often associated with the three wise monkeys, conveys the idea of avoiding participation in or exposure to evil. It encourages people to act with discretion, avoid negative influences, and maintain a sense of moral integrity in their actions and words.
