Sharp pain could be several things - in that area of the body are many muscles that you might have strained; also ovaries if you are a female; the appendix is there, and will usually be a steady pain that gets worse if you press the area and let go suddenly, along with a fever; also it could be something in the intestines or other digestive organs. If it does not go away, or if it is not relieved by over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, you should see a doctor to find out what it is. If you have that appendix fever and odd pain that gets worse when you let up on the pressure, you should go to the E.R. at once.

The abdomen.
Abdomen
It is what a person would call a "belly" and is right below the chest. The "belly button" (umbilicus) is in the middle of the abdomen.
The navel.
The navel.
Yes, Kim Possible's belly button is an innie.
There is no such thing as belly button dandfruff, you probably just need to clean the inside of your belly button.
A belly button is another term for the navel - the indentation or bump remaining in the abdomen of animals where the umbilical cord was attached before birth.
For many, the belly button is a central focus of the abdomen. The belly button may be small, but it does make a difference. While it may not be necessary for living, a missing belly button just looks strange.
An "innie" is a belly button that sinks into the abdomen somewhat (concave) - while an ''outie'' protrudes out of the abdomen (convex). Many women who usually have "innie's" develop "outie's" during pregnancy.
