I remember when I was in elementary school, people in my class were going to take a PCT taste test, and I believe it was a strip placed on the tongue. If you were a PCT Taster, I believed you tasted a quite bad taste (I was reluctant to try to test). However, I do not know where exactly you would buy this, and I ask that if you are interested in buying a PCT Tasting kit that you be careful and make sure you are ordering from a reliable carrier, such as a children's science company. I remember talking about PCT tasting having to do with brussell sprouts... I could be wrong, but if you like brussell sprouts, this may mean that you aren't a PCT Taster. However, please do some research and get some second opinions on this!
PCT stands for plateletcrit. It is the percent volume of the blood occupied by platelets. It reflects the number and size of the platelets (packed platelet volume)
The untreated paper was used so that you will taste nothing but when they give you the treated paper you will know whether you are a taster or not..
