The Pierogi Recipe From Diners Drive-Ins And Dives Bar Food Episode DV0403H From The Starlight Lounge is as follows:(This is straight from the ladys mouth from the episode as she said it)
For the Dough:
4 Cups flour

Rest the dough for 15-20 min.
For the Filling:
Boil Potatoes (I think she said Yukon Gold)
1/2 pound of butter
American Cheese (use enough to make the filling pretty stringy)
- Place a small amout of the dough on a table with some flour and roll out flat (about the size of a small plate)
- Add filing and fold in half.
- MASH sides of dough around the filling
Bring a bunch of butter (like 1 inch on the bottom of the pan) to a boil and add a lot of onions
Add the Pierogis to the boiling butter and boil for about 5 minutes.
Enjoy!!
