Saudi Arabia has thousands of postal codes (post codes, zip codes).

Saudi Arabia uses a 13-digit code based on the Geographic Information System (GIS). The post code has 5-digit number representing region, sector, city, and zone. The other 8 digits include 4 digits for the building number and 4 digits for additional numbers.

Saudi Arabia has recently began assigning postal codes based on the X and Y coordinates of a particular region. X-coordinates have an absolute value of 2000 to 5999 and y-coordinates from 6000 to 9999. There is no complete listing for codes as the whole country does not use them.
