The family prayer, is a prayer to illustrate an oath/oration to God, that they will do all in their power to shepherd the weak through the evils brought forth by evil men and the dissatisfaction with those who would do harm to the innocents, and giving thanks to God to be able to do something about it. (See: Ezekiel 25:17) That the souls of the wicked shall be purified by blood, and sent back to their maker, if it is in their power: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit"

The final part:

"In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."

Means "In the name of the father, of the son, and the Holy Spirit" roughly.

Latin Prayer: In (nomeni) (Patri) et (Filii) et (Spiritus Sancti) [sometimes Sancto is used instead of Sancti in afternoon prayer] means: In the (name) the (Father) the (Son) and the (Spirit Holy) This is to reinforce the act of crossing oneself sometimes before using the Hebrew term 'Amen.'

"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river to thee. And teeming with souls shall it ever be. "IN NOMENI PATRI, ET FILLI, ET SPIRITUS SANCTI." (Latin for in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.)"

The main prayer featured in the cult classic "The Boondock Saints" as recited by the McMannus brothers was written by Troy Duffy, the writer and director; it does not come from any particular bible verse, although parts of it do seem to be inspired by some specific lines. The prayer, as it is spoken in the movie and as it appears (with the following punctuation) on many of the movie posters that are widely available, goes like this-

"And Shepherds we shall be.

For thee, my Lord, for thee.

Power hath descended forth from thy hand.

Our feet may swiftly carry out thy command.

So we shall flow a river forth to thee.

And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In nomine patris.

Et Filil.

Et spiritus sancti.
