But when they are small they are very vulnerable their predators include
- an uncountable amount of birds (The frigate bird)
- big fish
- sharks
- crabs (The ghost crab)
- humans

Why is man a predator of the turtle?
Because man (apparently) likes to turn living turtles into souvenirs for the tourist trade - regardless of the fact that turtles are endangered species !
