It depends on the coin's condition and mint mark.

In average circulated condition, a J mark such as yours, along with D or F, would retail for about $2 U.S., while a G mint mark would retail for about $3.

Those prices rise to $55 and $95 respectively, if the coin is almost uncirculated.

Before West Germany was fully restored as a nation, coins were issued by a bank run by the individual states (Länder). Later Federal Republic coins were the same size and value, so it was possible to find "Länder" coins in occasional circulation up till the euro was adopted in 2002.

FWIW, "Bank Deutscher Länder" ("Bank of the German States") is pronounced roughly "Bahnk DOYTsher LENder"

According to www.sammler.com, a big German collectibles site, about 148 million 50-pf. pieces were struck in 1949, with roughly 26 million of those bearing the G mint mark (G = Karlsruhe mint). Depending on its condition your coin's retail value may be anywhere from a couple of dollars if very worn, up to $35 or so if it's in XF condition.

These were among the first coins issued for use in West Germany following WW2. In 1948 and 1949, before the Federal Republic officially struck coins, the new currency bore the imprint of the state banks ("Bank Deutscher Länder") rather than "Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (Federal Republic of Germany). The 1948-49 coins were otherwise identical to later ones and stayed in circulation until 2002 when the euro was adopted by a reunited Germany.

The only postwar German 10-pf coins issued by der Bank Deutscher Länder (Bank of the German States) were struck in 1949, so your coin could not be dated 1946 and have that inscription.

If it is from 1949, its value ranges from about $1.50 if very worn up to maybe $30 if only slight wear shows.

Coins struck under Allied occupation from 1945 to 1948 used existing dies from the Third Reich but with the swastika removed. The denomination was still shown as "Reichspfennig" and the country was identified as "Deutsches Reich".

1946-G occupation 10-pf pieces are quite valuable, so there is a possibility someone tried to make a crude counterfeit but didn't know enough history to get the design right. In any case if the date is in fact 1946 you should have the coin examined by someone who deals in European coinage.

Its value depends very much on its condition.

A 1949-J 5 pf. with moderate to heavy circulation wear sells for $1.50 or less.

With only slight wear, that value shoots up to about $25.

These were among the first official coins issued by the Federal Republic of Germany after WW2. The phrase "Bank Deutscher Länder" means "Bank of the German States", which preceded the federal bank established in 1950. They remained in circulation until the euro was adopted in 2002.

What is the value of a 1943 Deutscher Lander 10 pfennig?

It's not 1943 - it's 1948 or 1949. Given that the date is unclear, I'm guessing that the coin is not in great shape - probably worth a few cents to a couple of dollars.
