If you need a new vinyl liner then measure the length and the width, then measure depth of shallow end and depth of deep end. Make a sketch of the sizes and go to your pool dealer and they will give you a price. To get the liner perfectly fitting they should visit your pool and take many different measurements before ordering any liners.
Should you want your pool relined with fibre glass instead of vinyl, then work out the total square metres of the pool (that's walls and floor and any built in steps) then multiply your total by £55 and you will have an approx price for fibre glassing.
Good luck Barry. highfibregrp.

There are too many variables to give you pricing here. It would depend on the size of the pool, the type of walls and bottom material used, the type and amount of Plumbing, the grade and thickness of the liner, the amount of and type of decking around the pool, the type of filter equipment, etc. Also add the cost of any additional equipment added such as a salt water chlorine generator, automatic cover, winter cover, heater, solar heater, automated controls, lights, fiber optic lighting, fountains, diving board, slide, etc. The last variable would be the difference in cost depending on what part of the country or in which country the pool was being built. The best option is to talk to several builders and get comparable quotes to compare, and speak to friends or neighbors who recently had a pool built for themselves.

That normally depends on where you are getting the liner from, but in most cases, you measure the pool diameter and actual pool wall height. When you order the liner, let the liner manufacturer know the liner is for an above-ground pool with an overlap liner. The liner manufacturer will then make the pool wall enough longer to allow several inches of liner material to fold over the top of the pool wall and anchor it in place with the liner locking strips.
They don't make them for in ground.
no. you will have to take off the top rail and pull the liner back over the top of the pool.
