Yamaha manufactures and sells soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass saxophones. Their prices range from several hundred dollars to thousands depending on the type and the user's need. Yamaha saxophones are expensive, the average of a new instrument for a beginner player will still be more than $1000.00. Buying a used Yamaha Saxophone will reduce the cost to less than $500.00.
Expecting that you are referring to an ALTO SAX (not a Baritone, Soprano or Tenor Sax), the lowest price I've ever seen is $500 - not that great of a sound though. The average student sax ranges 850-1200. One of the most expensive I've seen is $5,500. Typically music stores will sell used instruments and you can find savings that way.
Well They can be up to 2,000 dollars but I got mine for 203.
Saxaphones can cost between $200.00 to thousands of dollars.
usually a cheap one would be around $1500 for the average student type. the better ones are in the $3000 range but they can be a lot more expensive depending on the quality.
The prices vary as a result of where you get them and what the quality of the instrument is. Look around before you buy one.
i got mine brand new for 1500 Australian dollars
A nice, intermediate saxophone costs around $1000, but it can range quite widely (about $250 for a beginner saxophone to $4000 for a professional saxophone).
