My rear window brake light works, but not my tail light brakes on my 1997 Monte Carlo. What is the problem?
It could be a blown fuse. Tail lights and brake/turn are on separate fuses. Apparently there is not a ground problem since brake/turn works OK.
If the temp gauge no longer works then either the gauge itself has failed, the sending unit has failed, or there is a problem in the circuitry.
first , check you dimmer knob, turn it up or down to see if that works. if that's not the problem, you might have a bad alternator or some other electrical problem with the truck.the light bulbs themselves wont grow dim with age, they will just burn out.
gas gauge sticks either full or empty This is a known problem with Chevy's that they will not recall on. I had same problem with my 2000 Blazer. Had to replace fuel pump / gauge assembly in tank. It took a couple of hours to do, but was worth the headache having a gauge that works now, No more running out of gas or watching mileage.
If the turn signals on a car works but the hazard lights do not there may be a problem with the flasher switch. The flasher is located in the steering column, and a damaged unit can cause the lights to stop working.
SOUNDS LIKE A BLOWN FUSE DOES YOUR TAIL LIGHTS STILL WORK? 99.9 % THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUT AS THE matker LIGHTS -TAIL LIGHTS
its gotta be a ford a problem with the center brake light circuit causes the lights to go out i believe it is a diode
it might be the pressure gauge for your gas tank just click it a couple more times. it happens to mine
It depends on the exact problem. If it's that both brake lights in the back do not work and the middle one works, it could be your turn signal switch.
it works in side the battery
