In order to sign a legal document for another person you must either have power of attorney, or have some legal proof that you have been given authority to do so by this person. Documents supporting this should be notarized. If no permission can be proven, it is illegal to sign another person's name.

When signing a document on behalf of someone else the proper way to sign is to use the word "for" after the major signature and write in the minor signature's name. This can only be done if power of attorney is present and witnessed.

You need a power of attorney naming you as the attorney in fact to make any document legal when signing for someone else. Sign their name on the signature line and and under the signature line write "by (your name) as attorney in fact".

The initials jj after someone's name does not mean the person is a judge. The reference of jj appears to be a nickname, not a professional symbol or organization.

What is the symbol for law?

The symbol for law in America is the blind Lady Justice. She is the figure that you see outside most if not all courthouses. She holds in her hands a sword in her right and in her left she holds balanced scales. The balanced scales represent the fair trial that you are prescribed in your rights. The sword is there to represent that the accused will suffer justices might (jail or death). She wears a blindfold also because she cannot judge someone not only by sight but we are all blind to what the defendant might have done and so we will fairly accuse him.

What is a printed signature?

I have never seen a "printed" signature as a substitute for a written one, but both should be equally legal and effective IF that was the apparent intent of the person who did the signing. The same thing applies to a person who is illiterate and cannot print or write, but who can scribble some kind of mark or symbol. That "mark" is legally effective as his or her "signature" if that's how he or she intended it. The same thing applies for stamped signatures or computer-generated signatures. Intent is what controls, and intent is usually proven by the circumstances and the custom in that industry or the habit of those people involved.
