∙ 14y agoTranslated into English, Eskimo supposedly means "Raw meat eater". Not all alaskans are Eskimos. Alaska is made up of many different ethnicities and tribes. When refering to an Alaskan who is native to Alaska (e.g. Eskimo) it is best to call them an Alaska Native.
