depends on felony or misdemeanor up to 6 years in prison more often up to 6 months is normal, 4 years probation and a year of court ordered abuser classes you may have to pay for, plus possibly 4 year restraining order from victim. every case is different and the judge has a and can do just about what he wants to meet the needs of the case.
