∙ 8y agoIf you are being confirmed in the Latin Rite, your confirmation is usually postponed until after the age of 12 or so (depending on the local Bishop). In the Latin Rite, one needs to know and own one's faith and be willing to commit as a Christian - to live 24/7 as a Christian and to make an adult decision before being confirmed. Thus you should know your prayers and responsibilities before being confirmed.
