These two laws they are similar.

But Hooke's Law is a law which is used in Solid Mechanics, and Newton's Law of Viscosity is the one which is used in Fluid Dynamics.

What is the relation between viscosity and flow ability of a material?

The higher the viscosity, the lower the flow-ability of a material.(Viscosity=internal resistance to flow)

What is the relation between the viscosity and chemistry?

Viscosity is the thickness of a substance; how easily it flows. Molasses> very viscous Water-> not so viscous

What is the relation between viscosity and density of a liquid?

Both are indirectly related through temperature. When temperature increases both viscosity and density increases.

What is the difference between viscosity and gravity?

Viscosity is how slowly a fluid will move or pour at specified temperature. Specific Gravity is how heavy it is in relation to its volume.

What is the relationship between viscosity and refractive index?

refractive index is equals to squarroot of relative permitivity

What is the relation between viscosity and compressibility?

There is no relationship, other than they both are in relation to thickness of some type. Density (sp) is a measurement of solid objects Viscosity (sp) is a measurement of liquids

What is the importance of work-energy theorem?

it is a modified version of one of the newtons equation , newton equation cannot define the relation between work and enrgy thats why we generate the relation for work enrgy theorem

What is the difference between viscosity and viscosity index?

Viscosity is resistance to flow of oil Viscosity Index is a scale to measure viscosity

What is the force called between liquid particles?

viscosity. Viscosity is the inherent force of a liquid which opposes the relative movement between layers of the said liquid.

How is elasticity related to the petrochemical industry?

The ability and tendency to return to a certain, beginning, shape, even after being stretched beyond it's natural limits is elasticity. The petrochemical industries involve processing or refining of the natural and petroleum gases. There seems not to be a specific relation between the two.
