1. God the Father and Jesus the Son are both divine, that they both contain the whole divine essence. Therefore both can be worshiped and be prayed to.
2. Jesus the Son is distinct from God the Father in that the Father is said to originate or generate (not create) the Son. Jesus is always obedient to the Father and loves the Father. The Father always honors the Son and loves the Son.
3. It is difficult if not impossible for human minds to completely grasp what the relationship is, given our limitations, so we state it as best we know how.
