Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones are all the same thing.
The name 'hurricane' is given in the Atlantic Ocean and the northeast Pacific.
The name 'typhoon' is given in the Pacific Ocean, in the southeast Asian seas.
The name 'cyclone' is given in the Australian region, south Pacific Ocean, southwest Indian ocean and the north Indian Ocean.
Fact: Sometimes these storms travel from one basin to the other, such as what cyclone Jasmine did in the 2011-12 Australian region cyclone season.
First, it should be noted that there are similarities between tornadoes and cyclones. A cyclone and a tornado both have low pressure centers and, with the exception of a handful tornadoes, rotate counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern. However, tornadoes and cyclones operate on difference levels and are driven by different mechanisms.
In terms of relationships. Tornadoes need thunderstorms to develop. In most cases the thunderstorms needed to produce tornadoes frm long the fronts connected to mid-latitude cyclones. Tornadoes are also not uncommon in the outer bands of tropical cyclones (hurricanes, tropical storms, typhoons etc.)
They are all the same type of storms. IN the Atlantic and the eastern pacific they are called Hurricanes. IN the western Pacific they are called typhoons. IN the indian ocean and the southern hemisphere they are called cyclones.
Typhoons, hurricanes, and severe tropical cyclones are the same thing, only occuring in different parts of the world. They are all large, violent, rotating low pressure systems driven by convection and fueled by moisture from warm ocean water.
Hurricanes often produce weak tornadoes in their outer storm bands when the hit land.
A hurricane is less dangerous than the typhoon
Hurricanes and typhoons occur in tropical areas, but can move into extratropical areas as well. There are different types of cyclone, however. Tropical cyclones (hurricanes, typhoons, tropical storms and tropical depressions) form in tropical regions but extratropical and polar lows are cyclones as well.
Tropical cyclone is a generic term that includes both hurricanes and typhoons. Both hurricanes and typhoons are classified as tropical cyclones with sustained winds of at least 74 mph. The only difference is that a hurricane is in the Atlantic or eastern Pacific while a typhoon is in the western Pacific.
typhoons, tropical cyclones, and hurricanes are all troublesome types of hurricanes
hurricanes typhoons and cyclones........... your welcome
In parts of east Asia, they are called Typhoons. They can also be called cyclones.

They can be called, hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons and willy-willies

Cyclones occur in a variety of areas around the world. "Cyclone" is the generic term for cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes. Cyclones develop in the warm seas near the equator, but do not cross the equator. Those in the southern hemisphere are usually known as cyclones, but cyclones in the China Sea region are often called typhoons, whilst those in the Americas and the Atlantic Ocean are known as hurricanes.
If you don't get caught in it and die, probably.
In the Far East, a hurricane is called a typhoon. Hurricanes and typhoons are types of tropical cyclones. In other regions of the world, such as the Caribbean area or parts of the North Atlantic Ocean, these storms are called hurricanes.

A typhoon is a cyclone. A cyclone is simply an area of low pressure. Types of cyclones include, but are not limited to, hurricanes/typhoons, low pressure systems and tornadoes.

air pushes the tide ; making it bigger
Hurricanes (Cyclones/Typhoons) are natural phenomena, they can not be created by technology.
