Should a girl get a second ear piercing at the age of 12?

I'm 12 I Got My second piercing in my ear when i was 11 its fine schools allow it :)

I got my 2nd a week before I turned 11. I didnt look after it well and I got huge lumps that kept bleeding. I soaked them in salt water and eventualy they went down. For about half a year I didn't wear any earrings but still had small lumps and later on I could only get one side back in so now I only have 2 on one side and 1 on the other. If you think you will look after them or will be prepared for them to be infected then yes. (schools allow them aswell)

Personally I'd wait.

I have five piercings, the industrial, my nose, my tragus and my navel.

Of all of them, my nose was the most painful, because they couldn't numb it.

I'd recommend waiting about two years, it's not the nicest of feelings but at least at an older age you'll be able to handle it better.
