2. Cherry Valance, a soc, tells Pony that things are rough all over.
3. When Jhonny and Ponyboy are in the park, they get jumped by the socs, Pony is being drowned by Randy and Jhonny kills Bob with his 6" switchblade.
4. Jhonny and Pony run away to church on Jay Mountain and stay there for weeks, worrying the rest of the gang.
The rising action is after ponyboy was getting drowned near the fountain by the Socs.
Johnny killed one of the socs named bob which led them to having to run away to Jay Mountain.
