Akihito, the Emperor of Japan, was born on 1933. He is currently the 125th emperor of Japan. He is married to Michiko Shoda, making her the first commoner to marry into the royal family.
Japan is still technically a monarchy. The emperor, Akihito, has been in power since 1989, His father was emperor for over 60 years. The emperor actually has little temporal power.
