Hamlet is set in the Kingdom of Denmark, a Northern European nation. The time period in which Hamlet is set is unknown. However, it can be reasonably assumed that the play takes place in the Medieval period or in the fifteenth to sixteenth centuries.
Hamlet is set in Denmark, as well as slightly London for the time that Hamlet is there. Mostly is takes place in the palace Elsinore in Old Denmark.
Hamelin. It should be obvious, as it is in the title.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a disguised anti-war story.
In order to fully demonstrate the evils of capitalism within the confines of the story- if he were to allow the town to go unpunished, no moral would be found, removing the point of the story.
That's from the Pied Piper. In the tale, the Pied Piper was called in to rid rats from the town, which he did by playing his pipes and luring them to their death by drowning. When he returned to the town for payment, he was not paid, and he took it out on the townspeople by again playing his pipes, this time luring all of the children out of the town. So, to "pay the piper" means to face the inevitable consequences of one's actions.[1]
There is nothing to like about it. it is a tragedy with some more or less sick comic aspects like ( Roach Motel) which is merely a commercial for a pesticide device. In this day and age of very real child abuse- it is alarming. I can"t see any redeeming qualities/ One of the rare (fairy Tales) that not only comes out sadly, but the Bad guy gets away with his misdeeds. I never did like it.
