The solar constant of Mars is about 589 watts per square meter. It can be approximated by dividing Earth's solar constant (which is about 1366 watts per square meter) by the square of the ratio of Mars's orbital radius to Earth's orbital radius. Ideally, an actual number for the solar constant of Mars can someday be measured by orbiting a sufficiently specialized satellite around Mars over the course of about 20 years, but it seems that no one has done this yet. Due to a tiny amount of cosmic debris between the orbits of Earth and Mars, the measured value will be a tiny bit smaller than an approximation of Mars's solar constant that is based on Earth's solar constant, but the error of approximation will be less than 1 watt per square meter.
