The Spanish world for "rose" is rosa.
It's very easy to translate the word 'rose' to Spanish, the name of this flower in this language is simply: 'Rosa'. This word comes from a Germanic name, a name that afterwards was introduced to England in the form of 'Roese', then the name was associated with the flower 'rose', which had obtained its original name from the Latin: Rosa.

The name Rosalita is a diminutive form of Rosa, which means "rose" in Latin. It conveys qualities associated with the flower, such as beauty, love, and passion.
"Rosa" is a Spanish equivalent for the flower, and "rosal" is a Spanish equivalent for the plant, the "rose" (Rosa spp).
roseta (Spanish spelling) = small rose; rosette; rose-coloured cheek; also (in metallurgy) rose-coloured copper
Rosita is a female Spanish name, that means "little rose". Rosita is pronounced "ro-SEE-tah". It is a variant of the Latin names Rosa and Rose.
