THE answer is one.

Ummm, I'm not to sure about division of Surds... But if it follows the same pattern as Multiplying surds It should be the Square root of 1...

2√2 x 2√2 = 4√4 = 8 ( √4 = 2, 2x4 = 8 ) Is an example for multiplying... The rule is You can only add like surds...

√40 Simplified = √4x10 = 2√10

That's all i can remember...

Correct as far as it goes. It is the Square root of 1. But the square root of 1 is + or - 1.
