A basin, bath, kitchen sink, shower and bidet all have 2 inch (50mm) outlets, a toilet has a 4 inch (110mm) outlet which all connect to a gully (4inch) or stack (4 inch) outside which connects to a main sewer line. A main sewer line can either be 4 inch or 6 inch (160mm) depending on its application and the length of the sewer line.

Depends on the local / state /national / country codesSome codes require a basin waste to be 11/4 and the trap to be either 11/4 or 11/2

Kitchen sink some codes require 11/2 waste and 11/2 trap the better codes require an 11/2 waste and a 2x 11/2 trap

A toilet waste can be as small as 3" or up to 4"

The length of the sewer has no bearing how many fixtures are connected it goes by fixture units and PITCH the venting does go by developed lenght and fixture units connected ( 7.48 gallons Or 1 CUBIC FOOT = 1 FU)

what are the differences between a standard dishwasher and a dishwasher with drawers?

There is only one company that manufactures a dishwasher with drawers. Fisher and Paykel. These independent dishwashers can be ran separately. Both units combined is the same size as a standard dishwasher. It can fit in the cabinet where an old dishwasher took place. This dishwasher is not popular or in demand.

Probably not, depends on where the clog is at and how the dishwasher drain is connected. I wouldn't chance it, but the worst that will happen is the sink will fill with the water from the dishwasher.

Can you run the dishwasher if the garbage disposal is not connected?

The disposal has to be in place so that the drain on the dishwasher is connected. If you do not have a disposal or are removing it, there is a extension tube for the drain that has the dishwasher tube in it. The disposal does not have to work for the dishwasher to drain. The water is run through the disposal so that any food particles get ground before going in the drain. After a while, the disposal will begin to smell if it is not run.

Where is the drain located in the dishwasher?

In centre of the base.

What does the plumbing look like for a double sink no garbage disposal and a dishwasher?

Most common is a center drain, but it can be at either side depending on where the drain goes into the wall. On the side closest to the dishwasher, the tail piece directly under the sink has a smaller tube in the side of it for the dishwasher drain.

Siemens dishwasher will not drain?

If the dishwasher is hooked into a garburetor, there is a plug in the garburetor where the hose drain attaches that needs to be knocked out. The drain hose might be plugged where it joins to the plumbing drainage. The other problem, plumbing-wise, is the drain hose has to be fed as high as it can go under the sink and back down into the drain.

Can you use drain cleaner in dishwasher?

No. Many vital parts in the dishwasher are plastic. Usually, the drain hose is plastic, too. Drain cleaners are ok for PVC pipes, but too caustic for other types of plastic. Drain cleaners also cause corrosion of metal parts.
