This way you have the cuts where they are less noticeable. Use a trowel to place tile glue on the tiles, put them in place. Use spacers to keep them apart at an equal distance. Use a tile cutter to cut tiles in areas where a whole tile is not needed. Once you are done, remove the spacers and use a trowel to grout between the tiles. Wipe away excess grout with a wet sponge.

Only standard dimension of a bathroom is that the Tub if there is one usualy takes up 5 feet of one wall. Beyond that, anything goes.
