What the difference between reaction and response?
A reaction is what happens to the body when a stimulus is applied, a response is what happens next; i.e a stimulus illicits a reaction which illicits a respose. For example, glucose in the blood (a stimulus) causes the pancreas to release insulin (a reaction), which in turn causes the cells to take up glucose from the blood (a response).

The difference between an external stimulus and an internal stimulus is that an external stimulus is a stimulus that comes from outside an organism. But an internal stumulus is a stimulus that comes from inside an organism. An example for an external stimulus can be that when you are cold, you put on a jacket. An example for an internal stimulus is that when you feel hungry, you eat food.

Yes Insulin is a hormone produced by the beta cells in the pancreatic islets of Langerhans that stimulates glycolysis and increase glucose uptake in muscle and adipose tissue; therefore, it maintain homeostasis in the body by decreasing blood sugar level when it is high. It shows a negative feedback because the response negates the stimulus to maintain homeostasis.
