What is the summer climate of Quito?

First off when you say summer I assume you are talking about June, July and August which is summer in the US, but not exactly summer in Ecuador. The weather during these months is very temperate. The sun is usually shining, but due to the high altitude it stays chilly. It can get get cold, but you shouldn't expect rain.
