The book is looked apon from a child's view and everything seems confusing and unfair. Especially to Shmuel, because he doesn't see how Bruno can be complaining about where he lives. Bruno's new house seems like such a luxury compared to Auschwitz where he lives with thousands more. It is based on justice.
