Quite a few have been written. The first and most popular is "No One Here Gets Out Alive" by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugarman. Another popular one (and probably the most accurate) is "Break on Through" by James Riordan and Jerry Prochnicky. "The Lizard King was Here" by Mark Opsasnick details Morrison's High School days in Virginia. Others include "Life, Death, Legend" by Stephen Davis, "The Lizard King" by Jerry Hopkins, and "A Feast of Friends" by Frank Lisciandro. There's also the memoirs of people who knew him: "Light My Fire" by Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek, "Riders on the Storm" by Doors drummer John Densmore, "Wonderland Avenue" by Doors roadie Danny Sugarman, "Strange Days" by Jim's girlfriend Patricia Keneally, and "Wild Child" by another girlfriend Linda Ashcroft. "Jim Morrison Scrapbook" doesn't have much info, but does have several copies of his personal photos and poems, which is pretty interesting for the hardcore Doors fan. Be weary though, quite a few of these-especially the memoirs-are often times very sensationalized and twist the truth.
