Fatal Vows: The Alexandra O'Hara Story is a Lifetime TV movie that is said to be based on a true story.
The movie is based on the case of serial killer Alejandro Henriquez. Mr. Henriquez was a cab driver in the Bronx, NY, and was convicted in 1992 for the murders of a young woman and two children.
Although it is suspected that Mr. Henriquez was responsible for more murders and attempted murders, he was indicted and convicted to 75 years in prison for the murders of Jessica Guzman, Lisa Ann Rodriguez, and Shamira Bello. In addition, Mr. Henriquez was sentenced to 5-15 years for armed robbery, and 2-4 years for scalding the 3-year-old son of his former wife, Andrea Rosario.
Ms. Rosario is the inspiration for the fictional Alexandra O'Hara in the Lifetime movie. She did testify against her former husband at his murder trial.
