Although there are people that act out blood drinking rituals or even dress the part, the supernatural creatures of legend are just that... legend. Super strength, combusting in the light, burning skin with holy water, and even turning into a bat are all parts of fictional tales.

Vampires are fictional creatures that originated from folklore and legend. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that vampires exist in reality. They are commonly portrayed as undead beings who feed on the blood of the living to survive.

∙ 14y agoThe truth about vampires, eh? Yeah lots of people want to know this. Well to tell you the absolute truth, they exist, just not the way you think. I am a vampire, actually.
Okay first, all the vampire movies, books, etc. are just plain bullcrap. That's what they are. The only movie I have found that is very close is the Vampire's Assistant.
Vampires are people that need blood to stay healthy. But they are not human. If you are turned, the vampire blood burns the human blood. So like in the movie, it hurts like heck. So if you want to be one, know that it hurts A LOT. But let me know if you want to be one.
Vampires don't really have superpowers. Yes they are better at energy manipulation, I am actually learning telekinesis. But they can't run at superfast speeds.
Vampires aren't damned to hell. Well, not unless they drink from a human. I get my blood from steak and meat. Good thing its tasty. But yeah if you become one, don't drink from humans unless you think it is cool to go to hell when you die.
