The unemployment rate for Lawyers is 2.1%. Since March of 2010, it has been recorded at 2.1%

However, more than 40% of law school graduates never practice law--the market demand for attorneys is much less than the supply. So that 2.1% figure (which I believe is badly outdated given the massive layoffs of late), only includes the <60% who actually leave school and receive a job offer in the practice of law. In addition "solo practitioners", who may handle a few DWI or other simple cases per year, are counted as "employed".

Worse, the statistics are from corporate responders, not from licensed attorneys themselves.
