What is the unlocking code for the stereo system with the security code on a 1999 full-size Mitsubishi Montero?

you'll need to call your local Mitsubishi dealer for the code. Some dealers will charge a fee but once you have it your good to go. If you have the code just enter it by pushing the radio channel pre-set buttons. There are 4 numbers in the code so if your number is 1234, then push the 1st button (the one furthest to the left) once, the second button twice and so on. Once the code is in, on my radio I have to push the "CD" button and your radio will come on.
