ANS 2 - There are many dissimilar things that cannot be easily and quickly glued together. Tape, in particular, Duct Tape and red 'Tuck' tape are very useful to attach things semi-permanently.
Some tape MAY work better than some glues in certain applications. -They are made for different things.
